Unfortunately, I don’t have many photos from my summer split between Santa Fe and Socorro. I interned for the NM State Land Office – two days a week in person, and three remote.
My first week on the job, I was cat/house sitting for the family of a friend. Lulu is an incredibly sweet little kitty 🙂
… however, she brought a mouse inside and released it into my backpack!

As much as I don’t want to blow up my spot, I can’t deny the beauty of eating Sushi8 takeout aside the Santa Fe River.
Speaking of the Santa Fe River, it flooded like CRAZY during a rain storm. I’ve always loved seeing it like this!
Unfortunately, this does conclude my summary of summer 2025. It was quite the busy season for me, between working 40 hours per week and taking six credit hours between NMT and CNM. Incredibly worthwhile, and I really enjoyed my time. 🙂
